*dusts off cobwebs* Ahem. Cogito Ergo Sum. I got a comic out finally! You can’t keep me down for very long.
To all of the one reader left, if you’re reading this, thanks for remaining faithful!
So I know Solstia was in the middle of a drug induced coma-dream, but what if there is some truth behind that really…really weird dream.
LoL Shocktopus…
OMG, so Aza came up with this AMAZING, drawing style! I was so excited I asked him to let me write the blog for this comic! I don’t know how Aza comes up with these new styles of drawing, but wow! The man is pure genius! Can’t get any more original than that! I think he captured our WoW characters perfectly! This is definitely a more accurate representation than before. You know what other web-comic artists who are competing with Aza for the millions of WoW web-comic reading fans out there? Watch. Out. Yeah, I said it! The innovation of this masterpiece of a comic is going to blow all of you out of the WoW web-comic waters. I know you’re all going to want to copy his new style, but really just don’t bother. You won’t be able to compete. Just kidding! (But really I’m not…)
I guess we really should find a name for it or something… anyone got any ideas?
EDIT #1: (Azarizotza) APRIL FOOLS!!!! Yes, I’m sure I got you all… I am a big fan of Genndy Tartakovsky…(Dexter’s Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Star Wars: Clone Wars) I always wanted to pay homage to his art. I actually HAVE been receiving emails about the dynamic of my comic not being dissimilar to The Powerpuff Girls. This gave me the perfect opportunity to (at least attempt) to fool you all and pay tribute to an artistic hero!
For those who missed it: The site looked like this on April, 1st. 2011.
For those who want it: I have prepared an iPhone/iPad-Friendly version of the last panel. Feel free to use it as your background. I have a desktop version too!
I’m sorry to report! My style isn’t changing! (Due mostly from fear of stylistic copyright)
EDIT #2: Yes, I did in fact draw a full version of Kil’Jaeden as Mojo Jojo!
So Gushma knew Solstia’s family?!
EPIC FAIL: I somehow put the 13th instead of the 14th on my auto publisher! Unfortunately, I never take down something that’s been put up, so enjoy a day early.
Wow took longer than I expected. I’m sorry I’m so late. Life has been…erratic to say the least……
With all the geology based puns I know I could be an Earth Scientist…everyone knows that’s all they are good for…
Doesn’t look like Solstia’s having much with her test either!
So sleepy, internets finally went up, time to sleep, enjoy comic, talk tomorrow.
Edit: Still sleepy, but awake now. So, it seems not all of TMDM is out to get our heroes.
Yes, I intended General Gushma’s Fried Chicken’s logo to be GG, a popular gaming abbreviation meaning “Good Game” most annoyingly said by arrogant jerks before beginning a Starcraft match….
Yes, the clip show was inevitable. Actually, no it wasn’t. The idea really came from watching a clip-show from some show (I forgot what it was) and complaining to Xandie. I said “Damn clip-show, what a cop-out, you can’t do that with a comic…………..OR CAN YOU?!”
And so the greatest idea ever was born.
In other news, I got my degree in hyperbole yesterday!
EDIT: Having given this enough time, I will announce I spelled “Fourteen” wrong. I’m shocked no one got it.
Wait wait wait…..Aza and Sols have to be tested?
It also seems we figured out Dr. Aflare.
You may notice that the style is a little all over the place. I’ve been experimenting with a few different styles, but in order to see what’s the best style, I had to put them side by side in a fully finished comic.
P.S. The Spell Check game is still on!
Yes! Someone finally on our side…but what is Doctor Aflare: Shadow Priest MD; angle here…..besides earning new slaves. He seems like he’d be on our side for a reason….
I’m sorry to everyone else who has to deal with this “sub-par” comic. It’s riddled with inside jokes.
That’s right! I’ve been doing Torment of the Week for just about a year now! Well maybe a year and 10 days or so…. Also! another equally important milestone! This is my 50th comic! Hooray for me! Thank you guys for all your support.
Now. Down to business. I’m sorry this was late, but I originally had planned something much larger that ended up working better in two separate comics. Who is this this guy that’s taking over?
For those of you looking for the spelling error, it’s not “thee”. I did that on purpose to make it sound as if she was saying it like Eadric the Pure.
Here’s to another year and another 50 comics!
